Tech Arena 2026 is an exciting opportunity for university students, PhD researchers, and Post-Docs across Europe to showcase their creativity and technical expertise in next-generation wireless communication technologies. Organized by Huawei, the competition aims to connect talented young researchers with cutting-edge industry challenges and foster stronger collaboration between academia and industry.
This year’s theme is “Next-Generation RF and Photonics Technologies for Wireless Communication”, with focus areas including:
·Up-Link Enhancement Techniques for Wireless Communication Systems
·Photonics for Wireless Communication Systems
·Applications of AI to the Modelling of EM Problems
Participants will have the opportunity to work on real-world research topics related to future communication systems, present innovative ideas, and gain visibility among industry experts and researchers.
For each contest topic, both a 1st Prize and a 2nd Prize will be awarded, with a total prize pool of €6,300. Outstanding participants may also be considered for internship opportunities at Huawei research centers.
